Zin's career is still going downhill as their current singer Garry "Polo" Borno left the band. Initially, Polo was supposed to fill-in for Alan Cave when he's away on tour. However, as time progressed, Alan Cave became more distant with Zin and was being featured all over the diaspora as a solo act. So, this didn't come as a surprise when Zin started intensively promoting their new vocalist. At the time, the band released 2 new tracks and a music video, which by all accounts did not create any buzz on the market. Polo is now affiliated with BelDjaz as rumors continue to spread all over Miami. He will share the stage with a young talent by the name of Enock, as we reported back in May on belmizikfm.com -- Now, here's the Press-Release:

After much thought and careful consideration, Garry "Polo" Borno has decided to part ways with Zin. A lot of thought was put into making this decision, especially since Polo has enjoyed singing for the past year and a half with Zin and has learned much from the expertise of veterans Alan Cave, Alex Abellard, and Eddy St. Vil. Polo would like to thank Zin's promoters, investors and the media that have allowed him to be a part of a such a life-changing experience. Polo would like to especially thank all of Zin's fans that supported and welcomed him into the already established band. He hopes that those same fans, and all Kompa lovers, will support him in his future endeavors, as he continues to follow his dream to advance the music of Haiti, while entertaining people worldwide.
